In 2026, no fewer than 13 new walking routes will be launched through the beautiful South Limburg landscape. And you get the unique opportunity to be among the first to join a special walk through beautiful Bocholtz.

Enjoy an 11.5 km walk under the guidance of an experienced IVN guide, with attention to both nature and history. Along the way, the Roman past comes to life: through the VIA VIA–Via Belgica app, the Roman veteran Julius takes you along in fascinating audio stories about life in Roman Bocholtz.

As if that were not enough, along the route you will even meet real Romans who will surprise you with a story or a small tasting.

• Starting point? Please report 15 minutes before the start of the walk in front of Hoeve Overhuizen, Overhuizerstraat 2 in Bocholtz
• Price? 3 per person (to be paid at the starting point)
