EVENT – Roman Festival

Gallo-Romeins Museum Tongeren
On Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 August, the museum will organise a large Roman Festival for the second time. In the museum and on the surrounding squares, there will be all kinds of activities for young and old alike.
Imagine yourself in Roman Tongeren and stroll through a lively market. Discover 2,000-year-old crafts up close by exploring the workshops of blacksmiths, potters, textile and leather workers, and more. Talented re-enactors let you feel, smell and taste the past. And of course, a gladiator show cannot be missing!
